A proven distribution network

With an inventory of over 40,000 products, an efficient product management system is essential.

In this section, you will find all the documents you’ll need to manage a product, from its creation to its launch.

Product creation:

The product set-up form must be accompanied by:
  • A photo that complies with the RONA specifications -  Graphic standards
  • A sample UPC code for validation purposes.
  • An up-to-date material safety data sheet.

All product samples must be accompanied by the duly completed form.

Product Compliance and Material safety data sheets

Suppliers must ensure that all of their products sold to RONA are in compliance with all applicable laws, including without limitation, both federal and provincial laws regulating the marking, labelling and transportation of hazardous and dangerous goods as well as material safety data sheets (MSDS).

The manufacturers of hazardous products must provide RONA with prescribed MSDS information in respect of their hazardous products. All material safety data sheets must be written in both official languages and be kept updated.

RONA uses the services of MSDS Solutions to maintain and manage data sheets. Data sheets must be sent in .pdf (Acrobat) format directly to: gip@rona.ca, clearly indicating the RONA code or codes to which the sheet applies.
